Mary Berry has rubbished rumours of a feud with Paul Hollywood after her Great British Bake Off exit but admitted he used to ‘bore her to tears’ behind the scenes.
The celebrity chefs were once one of TV’s closest partnerships while working together on the original BBC version of the baking show, before they parted ways when Paul moved with Bake Off to Channel 4 in and Mary stayed at the BBC.
But debunking any rumours of a ‘feud’ between the pair, Berry said: “No, we’ve always got on.
It’s just that I stayed with the BBC when it went. And Mel [Giedroyc]did and Sue [Perkins] did.
