Scott Raynor is an award winning artist who creates works that explore the complex relationship of the artist and his studio through complex spatial and.

In addition I am also Chair and Associate Professor of art at High Point University where I am proud to share with students my passion for art.

High Point University professor Scott Raynor, chair of art and graphic design, hopes to use his TikTok platform to inspire others and to.

I work primarily in painting and printmaking. My work explores the relationship of color and lyrical forms that exist in complex spatial arrangements. The idea of the artist studio is an important element in my work. The idea of the sacred space of the artist’s studio full of symbolic objects that are in constant conflict with each other is appealing to me.

My paintings are filled with parts, objects, machinery and distinctively colored patterns.

Scott Raynor, based in High Point, NC, US, is currently a Professor, Art and Design at High Point University.

Each object in my paintings derive from a lifetime of associations and experiences. Recently my works are incorporating pop culture references with images of quirky versions of well known images. They are slowly working their way into a new visual mythology that I am creating.

My work is held in numerous private collections and I have have recently exhibited my work in a number of venues nationally and internationally.
