          5. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he moved to the UK at a young age and later returned to Brazil. As a teenager, Tobin developed a passion for hip-hop, jazz, and South American music, spending much of his time listening to his favorite records.

          At the age of 17, Tobin began his first musical experiments using a small sequencer, which he affectionately called his "little horrible Casio keys." Unsatisfied with his life, he moved to Portugal with all his equipment, playing in street discotheques and blues bands on harmonica, saxophone, guitar, and keyboards.

          In 1994, Tobin returned to the UK and settled in Brighton, where he started recording his own tracks and sending them to various record labels.
